Costa Rica feels better when the itinerary has room to breathe
One of the most common planning mistakes is trying to visit too much. Everything looks close on a map; in reality, some transfers consume a large part of the day. Our planning focuses on building a trip that works, not a checklist of places.
5–7 days
We usually recommend focusing on two well-chosen areas and leaving enough time to actually enjoy them.
8–10 days
Three regions can work well when the route flows logically and transportation is organized.
12–14 days
There is more room for wildlife, beaches, adventure and one or two quieter destinations.
Families
We favor fewer hotel changes, age-appropriate activities and realistic downtime.
What we take into account
Flights, available nights, ages, group pace, wildlife, adventure, beaches, budget, vehicle choice, luggage and the experiences you genuinely care about. We also account for boat connections and routes that look simple but are not.
Our philosophy: we would rather remove one stop and improve the entire trip than fill every day just so the itinerary looks more impressive.
What we can coordinate
Tours, private transfers, boat connections, rental-car support and practical route guidance. We can suggest lodging areas when helpful, but guests normally book accommodations directly.
