Leave the beach behind and travel inland toward Rincón de la Vieja, where Guanacaste’s volcanic character becomes visible at ground level. Trails pass through tropical dry forest and geothermal areas shaped by an active volcanic system.
Your guide helps interpret fumaroles, bubbling mud, steam vents, plants, and wildlife possibilities along the route. Instead of simply seeing a volcano from the distance, you experience the signs of volcanic activity as part of the walk.

Depending on ocean conditions, there is time for swimming or snorkeling before the cruise settles into its final stretch. As the afternoon light softens, the boat becomes one of the best places to enjoy Guanacaste’s sunset.

How the Package Works
The included activities are operated on separate days and do not need to be consecutive. During the booking process, you will choose the date for each activity and the order in which you would like to experience the tours. This lets you build the package around your own travel schedule instead of following a fixed itinerary.

Green Tours CR will follow the dates and order selected during booking whenever available. If weather, park operations, river or ocean conditions, or supplier availability require an adjustment, we will contact you to coordinate the best alternative.
Each tour keeps its normal age limits, mobility requirements, minimum participation rules, inclusions, meeting points, and safety conditions. The advantage of the package is simpler coordination and a better combined price.
Pickup & Transportation
Transportation is included when it is normally included in the individual tour. ATV and the sunset catamaran do not include transportation and keep their normal meeting-point arrangements. If you would like private transportation added for those activities, contact us before booking.
